How do I install the application?
There are several ways to download and
install the application. You only need
iTunes and a iTunes account. You can
click the "Now in the Appstore" button
on the left or search for iWakeUp in the
iTunes store and buy the application.
How does the application work? iWakeUp is a very small and easy to use application. Just open the application, go to the settings panel by either use the menu buttons, or slide with your finger to the settings panel. Setup your timer and choose a theme. Press “Activate Alarm” and the application will go to sleep screen. Now you can leave the iPhone alone or put it to sleep mode.
Why do i need to keep the application active? iWakeUp is a so called 3rd-party application, specially designed for the iPhone. Apple doesn’t allow application to run in the background because of performance. By this, you will quit the application. Don’t worry, if you quit the appication it will save your last settings so you don’t have to setup your alarm every time. Just press the activate alarm button again and leave your iPhone alone.
Why do you ask money for the application? Applabs is a special internship project for communication multimedia design students. Currently two students are working 40 hours a week making concepts and develop applications like iWakeUp. Creating applications takes alot of time and effort. For this we ask you to pay a bit in return for our efforts. One of our goals is to keep on developing cool applications.
